<br />priority be given to the extension of BART to the Livermore-Amador Valley. After dis-
<br />cussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that
<br />Resolution No. 84-41, agreeing to support the City of Livermore preferred BART rail
<br />alignment east of the City of Pleasanton City Limits, be adopted.

<br /> Councilmember Mercer advised that he would not be able to attend the MTC public

<br />represent the City of Pleasanton.

<br /> Councilmember Mercer requested that staff prepare a report for consideration at the
<br />Mid-Year Budget review relative to the amount of money the city pays ABAG and the bene-
<br />fits derived from this agency. Council concurred.

<br /> Councilmember Mercer advised that the Amador High School boys basketball team has
<br />ranked No. 1 in the East Bay. It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by
<br />Councilmember Brandes, that Council commend the Amador High School Boys Basketball Team
<br />for their outstanding efforts in this athletic endeavor.
