Adoption of Resolution No. 85-283, extending the bid opening date from <br /> 2:00 p.m., June 4, 1985, to 2:00 p.m., June 20, 1985, in connection with <br /> the Stoneridge Drive and West Las Positas Street Improvements - North <br />~ Pleasanton Improvement District 1982-4. <br />X'l The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> i.C) AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Brandes <br /> Ill NOES: None <br /> m ABSENT: Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> Councilmember Wood asked about the status of parking on Arlington Drive <br /> and the Stanley Business Park parking restrictions. Mr. Okamura advised these <br /> two items will be discussed at the next Staff Traffic Committee meeting. <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Brandes advised that this is the last Council meeting for Mr. <br /> Harris, Director of Planning and Community Services; he has accepted the <br /> position of Director of Planning for the City of Fremont. It was moved by <br /> Vice Mayor Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. <br /> 85-284, expressing the City Council's sincere appreciation to Bob Harris for <br /> his fine work and outstanding service to the City of Pleasanton during a time <br /> of rapid development and growth, and wishing him every success in his new <br /> position, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Brandes <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> Mr. Harris stated it has been his great pleasure to work for the City of <br /> Pleasanton, and he thanked the Council for their support. <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilmember Mohr advised she has been meeting with the Downtown Associa- <br /> tion and business people, and that progress is being made relating to the <br /> Downtown Assessment District. <br /> <br /> MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> No one in the audience addressed the Chair. <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> PUD-81-30-8M, Application of Prudential Insurance Company of America for <br /> modification of the Hacienda Business Park Planned Unit Development (PUD-81- <br /> 30, Ordinance No. 1109) to amend land use, zoning and site designations of 15 <br /> sites within Phase 1 of the Hacienda Business Park, a 573 acre site located <br /> north of the Arroyo Mocho between Hopyard Road and the Southern Pacific Rail- <br /> road right-of-way. <br /> <br /> Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 85:287) dated June 4, 1985, regarding <br /> this matter. <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open on the application and <br /> the negative declaration <br /> <br /> - 3 6-4-85 <br /> <br /> <br />
