Mr. Peter Schnugg, representing Trammell Crow Properties, <br /> stated all he is asking for is to include automotive service <br /> under uses permitted on site in conjunction with new or used <br /> sales. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Vice Mayor Brandes declared <br /> the public hearing closed on the application and the mitigated <br /> negative declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Coun- <br />cilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 85-195, determining on the <br />basis of a review of initial environmental study done for this <br />project, that case PUD-85-2 would have a significant adverse im- <br />pact upon the environment but that recommended conditions of ap- <br />proval would reduce that impact to an insignificant level as out- <br />lined in the City's guidelines, therefore a Mitigated Negative <br />Declaration is appropriate in connection with PUD-85-2, applica- <br />tion of Trammell Crow Company for rezoning of an eight acre por- <br />tion of an approximately 49 acre site located immediately south- <br />west of the intersection of 1-580 southwest of the intersection <br />of 1-580 and Santa Rita Road, from C-C (Central Commercial) to <br />PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Central Commercial District, be <br />adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor <br /> Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Coun- <br />cilmember Mohr, that Ordinance No. 1193, to be read by title only <br />and waiving further reading thereof, approving PUD-85-2, applica- <br />tion of Trammell Crow Company for rezoning of an eight acre por- <br />tion of an approximately 49 acre site located immediately south- <br />west of the intersection of 1-580 southwest of the intersection <br />of 1-580 and Santa Rita Road from C-C (Central Commercial) to PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development)-Central Commercial District, subject <br />to all conditions contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. <br />2631, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor <br /> Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Brandes stated he felt it is incumbent upon Coun- <br />cil when discussing automobile agencies that they exercise upmost <br />care in design. <br /> <br /> Page 8 4-16-85 <br /> <br /> <br />
