There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearin~ closed <br />on this item. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated the revised plans are an improvement over those pre- <br />sented to Planning Commission. He stated he does not approve of the rose color in <br />the coloring scheme of the project. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Council- <br />member Mohr, that Resolution No. 85-24, approving PUD-81-30-25D, application of the <br />Koll Company for design review for a four building, 150,664 sq. ft., research and <br />development complex on an approximately 11.4 acre site located on the northerly <br />corner at Stoneridge Drive and West Las Positas Boulevard, subject to all conditions <br />contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 2587, with Building Two being recessed <br />in the center three bays for a length of 72 feet allowing a larger plaza area and more <br />landscaping; and for the developer to meet with a Council subcommittee to determine <br />color scheme, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer appointed Councilmembers Brandes and Wood to meet with the developer <br />relative to color scheme of the project. <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> There were no matters continued for decision presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no special reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Actions Taken by the Board of AdjuStment, Design Review Board, and Planning Commis- <br />sion at their meeting of 12-12-84 <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 85:01) dated December 14, 1984, regarding this <br />matter. No action was required or taken by Council on the item. <br /> <br />Recommendation from Planning Commission to Review Plan Line for Del Valle P~r~way from <br />Main Street to Stanley Boulevard. <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 85:15) dated January 7, 1985, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Dave Peterson, 4013 Stanley Boulevard, feels the project goin~ through at this <br />time is ahead of its time, and will dislocate people. He stated that Stanley Boulevard <br />is quaint and should be preserved. He stated there are many traffic problems related <br />to off-streets coming onto Main Street. He stated he opposes Del Val!e coming through <br />Stanley Boulevard. <br /> <br /> Mr. Wilcox, representing his parents who live at Stanley Boulevard and First <br />Street, stated there are three issues that should be addressed: (1) alighment of <br />Stanle~ Boulevard; (2) phasing of the project; and (3) width of street. He stated <br />he prefers the 66 ft. street right-of-way over the 84 ft. right'iof-way. He stated <br />that consideration should be given to preserving as manv of the century-old houses <br />as possible. <br /> <br /> Mr. Maurice Jones, 4023 Stanley Boulevard, stated he objects to this matter; and <br />feels the City should get traffic off of Stanley before going ahead with anything <br />else. He stated he would like to see the Valley Avenue project !inished first. <br /> <br /> 11. 1/7/85 <br /> <br /> <br />
