NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Actions Taken by the Board of Adjustment, Design Review Board, and Planning <br />Commission at their meeting of 10-23-85 <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 85:521) dated October 24, 1985, regard- <br /> ing this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes requested that UP-85-29, application of the Church <br />of Divine Man for a conditional use permit to operate a religious institution <br />at 328 St. Marys Street, be appealed. Council concurred. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />North Pleasanton Improvement District (NPID) Freeway Portion <br /> Mr. Okamura presented his report (SR 85:535) dated November 5, 1985, <br />regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember But- <br />ler, authorizing the Mayor to write letters to the Governor and appropriate <br />Legislators requesting that highway funds be released in order that this proj- <br />ect can go forward. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Environmental Monitoring Committee Recommendations <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 85:553) dated November 5, 1985, regard- <br />ing this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Peder Jacobson, 6122 Allbrook Circle, stated he felt staff recommenda- <br />tions are watered down, as compared to the recommendations of the Environmen- <br />tal Monitoring Committee, and he favored the recommendations of the Monitoring <br />Committee. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Brandes, that Resolution No. 85-536, approving staff recommenda- <br />tions as set forth in Staff report 85:553, and including Infectious Waste to <br />the list to be monitored, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer instructed staff to advertise for the vacancy on the Environ- <br />mental Monitoring Committee due to the resignation of Sharrell Michelotti. <br /> <br />Draft TSM City Program <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 85:550) dated November 5, 1985, regard- <br />ing this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember But- <br />ler, approving staff recommendations. <br /> <br /> 17 - 11-5-85 <br /> <br /> <br />
