It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, <br />that Ordinance No. 1227, approval of PUD-85-10, application of Hopyard <br />Partners for Planned Unit Development-Central Commercial rezoning and develop- <br />ment plan approval to construct a daycare facility, commercial building and <br />additional parking area north and east of an existing shopping center located <br />at the northeast corner of Valley Avenue and Hopyard Road, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Adoption of Ordinance No. 1228, Establishin9 Alarm Requlations <br />(Intro. 10-15-85, 4-Ayes, 1-Absent) <br /> Mayor Mercer stated that Ordinance No. 1228 was introduced on October 15, <br />1985, by a vote of 4-Ayes, 1-Absent, and that it was now in order to adopt the <br />ordinance. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, <br />that Ordinance No. 1228, establishing alarm regulations, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Adoption of Ordinance No. 1229, Amending Article 8 of Title V by Adding Sub- <br />section 5-3.50 (Parkin9 of Vehicles in Excess of Five (5) Feet in Heiqht <br />Restriction) <br />(Intro. 10-15-85, 4-Ayes, 1-Absent) <br /> Mayor Mercer stated that Ordinance No. 1229 was introduced on October 15, <br />1985, by a vote of 4-Ayes, 1-Absent, and that it was now in order to adopt the <br />ordinance. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, <br />that Ordinance No. 1229, amending Article 8 of Title V by adding Subsection 5- <br />3.50 (Parking of Vehicles in Excess of Five (5) Feet in Height Restriction), <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> Mayor Mercer stated he received a letter from the Alameda County Solid <br />Waste Management Authority transmitting documents from the Authority San Fran- <br />cisco Import Committee, recommending local agency endorsement and Authority <br />approval of the County Solid Waste Management Plan Amendment proposed by Oak- <br />land Scavenger Company. He stated this would allow San Francisco to dispose <br />at the Altamont dump site and that it would only slightly impact the Altamont. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Council- <br />member Wood, authorizing the Mayor, as Pleasanton's representative on the Sol- <br />id Waste Management Board, to support the recommendations of the Authority San <br />Francisco Import Committee to allow San Francisco to dispose in the Altamont <br />dump site. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> 11-5-85 <br /> <br /> <br />
