Mr. Bryan Scott, 3927 Dolores Drive, stated he is nervous about what the <br />grading might do to his property and is concerned about erosion. He stated he <br />would hate to see the oak trees be removed. <br /> <br /> Mr. Vanderoovart stated that he and Mr. Gooch spent time with the tree <br />expert who advised that the trees are hazardous and should be removed. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed on this item. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Brandes, that Ordinance No. 1221, to be read by title only and <br />waiving further reading thereof, approving PUD-77-10, application of Ken Gooch <br />and Associates for a major modification to amend the grading plan for PUD-77- <br />10, Pleasant Hills, to allow regrading of lots located at 4931 and 4897 <br />Dolores Drive and 4934, 4942, and 4950 Monaco Drive to create flat back yard <br />areas in lieu of the natural slope, subject to conditions contained in Staff <br />Report 85:489, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />Adoption of Ordinance No. 1219, Approval of PUD-85-7, Application of John <br />Payne et al for rezoning and development plan approval for the construction of <br />a 36 unit townhouse project on an approximately 2.6 acre site, located at 408~ <br />and 4129 Stanley Boulevard <br />(Intro. 9-17-85, 3-Ayes, 2-Noes) <br /> Mayor Mercer stated that Ordinance No. 1219 was introduced on September <br />17, 1985, by a vote of 3-Ayes, 2-Noes, and that it was now in order to adopt <br />the ordinance. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember But- <br />ler, that Ordinance No. 1219, approval of PUD-85-7, application of John Payne <br />et al for rezoning and development plan approval for the construction of a 36 <br />unit townhouse project on an approximately 2.6 acre site, located at 4089 and <br />4129 Stanley Boulevard, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, and Mohr <br />NOES: Mayor Mercer <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no Special Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Actions Taken by the Board of Adjustment, Design Review Board, and Planning <br />Commission at their meeting of 9-25-85 <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 85:481) dated September 26, 1985, <br />regarding this matter.
