Valley Memorial Hospital from the North Pleasanton Improvement District. Mr. <br /> Swift advised there is a time limit; his recollection is that the Hospital <br /> must start construction within two years from the date of the exemption agree- <br /> ment on the out-patient clinic and within five years for commencement of con- <br /> struction on the hospital. If they do not meet this commitment they will have <br /> to pay all assessed value fees in the various North Pleasanton Improvement <br /> Districts. <br /> <br /> Sidewalks on Sunol Boulevard <br /> Councilmember Wood requested staff to look into the possibility of in- <br /> stalling sidewalks on the east side of Sunol Boulevard between Arlington Drive <br /> and the Cemetery because of the hazardous condition of this area. <br /> <br /> Painting of Flag Pole at Veterans Building <br /> Councilmember Wood asked when the flag pole at the Veterans Building will <br /> be painted. Mr. Walker advised that as soon as the sprinkler System project <br /> is completed then the flag pole will be painted. <br /> <br /> Z-85-106, 107; National Car Rental <br /> Councilmember Wood stated that as one who voted in the majority for denial <br />of the appeal of the City Council relative to the National Car Rental approval <br />for design review approval., he would like to have this matter reconsidered <br />after taking another look at the property. After discussion, it was moved by <br />Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Vice Mayor Brandes, that Council recon- <br />sider Z-85-106, 107; appeal by the City Council of a decision of the Design <br />Review Board approving the application of National Car Rental for design re- <br />view approval to construct an automobile rental facility on an approximately <br />1.1 acre site located on the west side of Owens Court, approximately 750 feet <br />northwest of Owens Drive and Owens Court. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Brandes requested this item be set for consideration on Septem- <br />ber 3, 1985, for full Council attendance. <br /> <br />SB 300 - General Fund Monies for Transportation <br /> Councilmember Mohr stated that a measure is going through the Ways and <br />Means Committee regarding use of general Fund monies for transportation, which <br />she felt should be supported. It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and secon- <br />ded by Councilmember Wood, that a letter of support for SB 300 be transmitted <br />to Assemblyman Bill Baker, a member of the Ways and Means Committee. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />Satellite Dish Ordinance <br /> Vice Mayor Brandes asked when Council would be considering the Satellite <br />Dish Ordinance matter.
