Adoption of Resolution No. 85-376, approving the steps and time line for proceeding with construction of a City Library as outlined in Staff Report 85:372; approving the establishment of a Pleasanton Library Building Com- mittee to act as an advisory board to the Council on all aspects of desig~ of the library and appoint the eight citizens proposed by the Library Com- mittee; appointing a member of the Council to act as a liaison to the Library Building Committee; authorizing the City Manager to send a letter to the County Library requesting that the County commit to the services it would provide in the new library if the library were operated by the Coun- ty; and authorizing the Library Building Committee to assist in the selec- tion of an architect by proposing to the Council a list of qualified ar- chitects from which the Council can make a final selection. u. Adoption of Resolution No. 85-377, accepting a public storm drain system for the Pleasanton Station Associates' on First Street between Bernal Avenue and West Angela Street; and authorizing the City Attorney to file a Notice of Completion. Councilmember Wood added that if Pleasanton had a Hall of Fame that Joe Rose would be placed in it with highest honors. Appointment of Senior Citizen Housin~ Project Committee Member It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that W~l'liam Herl~hy be appointed as a member of the Senior Citizens Housing Project Committee.
