Adoption of Resolution No. 85-374, approving agreement with Eden Housing, <br /> Inc., for consulting services for the Senior Citizens Housing Project; and <br /> authorizing execution of the agreement by the appropriate city officials. <br /> <br /> s. Adoption of Resolution No. 85-375, denying the claim of Robert Williams in <br /> the sum of $653.65 for damages to his vehicle allegedly caused by one of <br /> the City's street crews on June 5, 1985, and referring the matter to the <br /> City Attorney for further handling. <br /> <br /> t. Adoption of Resolution No. 85-376, approving the steps and time line for <br /> proceeding with construction of a City Library as outlined in Staff Report <br /> 85:372; approving the establishment of a Pleasanton Library Building Com- <br /> mittee to act as an advisory board to the Council on all aspects of desig~ <br /> of the library and appoint the eight citizens proposed by the Library Com- <br /> mittee; appointing a member of the Council to act as a liaison to the <br /> Library Building Committee; authorizing the City Manager to send a letter <br /> to the County Library requesting that the County commit to the services it <br /> would provide in the new library if the library were operated by the Coun- <br /> ty; and authorizing the Library Building Committee to assist in the selec- <br /> tion of an architect by proposing to the Council a list of qualified ar- <br /> chitects from which the Council can make a final selection. <br /> <br />u. Adoption of Resolution No. 85-377, accepting a public storm drain system <br /> for the Pleasanton Station Associates' on First Street between Bernal <br /> Avenue and West Angela Street; and authorizing the City Attorney to file a <br /> Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmenlber Butler and Mayor M~rcer <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br />Commendation to Police Officer Joe Rose <br /> Vice Mayor Brandes presented a City Council Commendation to Police Officer <br />Joe Rose and expressed appreciation For his years of dedicated service as an <br />officer in the Police Department and his activities as a member of the com- <br />munity.
