REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY Draft Valle Avenue Extensi'on Agreement (Kaiser Sand and Gravel Company) Mr. Macdonald presented his report (SR 86:156) dated April 10, 1986, regarding this matter. It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 86-173, approving the agreement between the City of Pleasanton and Kaiser Sand and Gravel Company for the Valley Avenue Extension, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmember Mercer COMMUNICATIONS Mr. Walker presented a letter from the Alameda Countywide Transportation Advisory Committee regarding solicitation of candidate transportation projects for consideration for a possible voter approved 1/2 cent sales tax. He stated there would have been a substantial delay to have input from Council so he directed the City's consultant to write a letter for Mr. Walker's signature, asking that consideration be given to the 1-580/I-680 Interchange. He stated that Council might want to reaffirm that. Council went on record in favor of the 1-580/I-680 interchange to be considered as a transportation project for possible voter approval of the 1/2 cents sales tax. - 14 4-15-86
