Vacancies on Commissions <br /> Mayor Brandes stated he has received letters of resignation from Jim Bru- <br />no, Park and Recreation Commissioner; and George Williams, Housing Authority <br />Commissioner. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Wood, that Resolution No. 86-32, appointing A. Ryan McKeon, <br />presently the alternate on the Park and Recretion Commission, as a regular <br />member of the Park and Recreation Commission, to fill the unexpired term of <br />Jim Bruno, said term to expire February 15, 1987; and appointing Jim Fields, <br />presently the alternate commissioner on the Human Services Commission, as the <br />alternate on the Park and Recreation Commission, to fill the unexpired term of <br />A. Ryan McKeon, said term to expire February 15, 1987, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Council instructed staff to bring back a list of recently interviewed can- <br />didates for the Human Services Commission, to be considered for appointed to <br />this Commission. <br /> <br /> Council further instructed staff to advertise for the vacancy on the Hous- <br />ing Authority Commission, closing date to receive applications to be February <br />14, 1986. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> There were no City Council Committee Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> Ms. Sabina Harte, 3955 Vineyard Avenue, stated that considering the growth <br />of the City, she felt the Mayor's position should be an elected office. She <br />requested this matter be placed on a future agenda for public input. After <br />discussion, Council instructed staff to schedule this item on the agenda of <br />February 4, 1986, for Council consideration and public input. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />PUD-85-13, Application of Pamela Antrim for rezoning from RM-4000 (Multi- <br />family Residential} to the PUD (Planned Unit Development}-High Density <br />Residential District and development plan approval to construct a ten-unit <br />a_partment complex on an approximately 0.48 acre site, located on the southwest <br />corner of Peters Avenue and West Angela Street <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Neqative Declaration <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 86:26) dated Ja~luary 21, 1986, regard- <br />ing this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open on the application and the <br />negative declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Channy Chan, Groupdesigners, representing the applicant, presented <br />design and site plans of the proposed project. <br /> <br /> Council discussion ensued regarding trees.
