It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Vice Mayor Mohr, <br /> that Resolution No. 86-401, determining on the basis of a review of initial <br /> environmental study done for this project, that no significant environmental <br /> impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a Negative <br /> Declaration is appropriate in connection with PUD-86-9, application of the <br /> City of Pleasanton for rezoning from "A" (Agricultural) and CS (Commercial <br /> Services) to PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High Density Residential District; <br /> and development plan approval to construct a 220-unit senior citizens residen- <br /> tial complex to be located on an approximately 9.2 acre site located generally <br /> in the area west of the railroad tracks of the Southern Pacific Transportation <br /> Company at the southern terminus of Old Bernal Avenue, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Wood, and Vice Mayor Mohr <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Brandes <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br />that Ordinance No. 1272, to be read by title only and waiving further reading <br />thereof, approving PUD-86-9, application of the City of Pleasanton for rezon- <br />ing from "A" (Agricultural) and CS (Commercial Service) to PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-High Density Residential District; and development plan approval <br />to construct a 220-unit senior citizen residential complex to be located on an <br />approximately 9.2 acre site located generally in the area west of the railroad <br />tracks of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company at the southern terminus <br />of Old Bernal Avenue, subject to conditions set forth in Staff Report 86:358, <br />be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Wood, and Vice Mayor Mohr <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Brandes <br /> <br />PUD-81-30-35D, Application of Pacific Rim Development Corporation for design <br />review approval to construct an approximately 103,700 square foot, five- <br />building specialty retail complex, to be located on an approximately 9.7 acre <br />site~ located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Hopyard Road and <br />Stoneridge Drive. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br />Industrial/Commercial and Offices District <br />(Contd. Open from 8-5-86) <br /> Vice Mayor Mohr continued this item Open to the meeting of September 2, <br />1986, 8:00 p.m., in the Pleasanton Council Chambers, at the request of the <br />applicant. <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />Ado tion of Ordinance No. 1268, Authorizin9 an Amendment to the California <br />Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS) for Highest Year Compensation for <br />Local 1974 of the International Association of Firefighters <br />(Intro. 8-5-86, 3-Ayes, 2-Absent) <br /> Vice Mayor Mohr stated that Ordinance No. 1268 was introduced on August 5, <br />1986, by a vote of 3-Ayes, 2-Absent, and that it was now in order to adopt the <br />ordinance. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, <br />that Ordinance No. 1268, authorizing an amendment to the California Public <br />Employees' Retirement System (PERS) for highest year compensation for Local <br />1974 of the International Association of Firefighters, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br /> - 9 - 8-19-86 <br /> <br /> <br />
