Adams, Bob Combs, and William Skinner for development plan approval for a 15 <br />unit single-family residential development, to be located on an approximately <br />10 acre site located approximately 400 feet west of Martin Avenue between Mohr <br />Avenue and Cameron Avenue, subject to conditions recommended by the Planning <br />Commission, but deleting condition No. 1.a, and allowing eight lots on the <br />Skinner parcel, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />RZ-86-10, Application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an approximately <br />152 acre site to the "A" (AgriculturalI District and an approximately 36 acre <br />site to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Rural and Medium Density Residen- <br /> <br />north of the intersection of Bernal Avenue and F 1 <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 86:497) dated November 12, 1986, <br />regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the <br />negative declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. David Gold, Attorney representing TMI, stated they support and staff <br />report and Planning Commission recommendations. <br /> <br /> Mr. Paul Mason, Sunol, owner of a three acre parcel next to the freeway, <br />stated he has no problem with annexation, however, his property is zoned <br />Agricultural and he would like to be zoned the same as the TMI property. He <br />requested his three acres be zoned Residential. <br /> <br /> Mr. Larry Messa, 3464 Foothill, stated he concurs with the annexation as <br />long as his property is kept in the Agricultural zoning. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed on the application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift stated staff has no opposition to the Mason parcel being zoned <br />PUD-Low Density Residential. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Resolution No. 86-539, determining on the basis of a review of initial <br />environmental study done for this project, that no significant environmental <br />impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative <br />declaration is appropriate in connection with RZ-86-10, application of the <br />City of Pleasanton to prezone the TMI and Mason property to PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Low Density Residential; the Gartung, Stevenson and Oleson prop- <br />erties to R-1-40; and the Wells Fargo Bank, Curdy and Messa parcels to <br />Agriculture, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 9 - 11-18-86 <br /> <br /> <br />
