It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 87-139, approving PUD-81-30-38D, application of the Court- ney Group, Inc., for design review approval to construct a two-story, approxi- mately 40,000 square foot office building and related signage, to be located on an approximately 2.3 acre site located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Owens Drive and ChabOt Drive, subject to the conditions of approval contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 87-27, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None Public Hearing to Determine whether public necessity, health, safety, or wel- fare requires the formation of an underground utility district on Valley Avenue between Quarry Lane and Stanley Boulevard Mr. Elliott presented his report (SR 87:133) dated April 7, 1987, regard- ing this matter. Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to the issue. Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed.
