Coun- <br />cilmember Brandes stated he is concerned about the pad areas being left un- <br />developed and requested that a condition be added to make certain these areas <br />were not left in dirt. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember But- <br />ler, that Ordinance No. 1307, to be read by title only and waiving further <br />reading thereof, and finding that the development is consistent with the <br />General Plan and purposes of the PUD Ordinance, approve PUD-86-18, application <br />of Oakridge Properties/Valley Medical Associates for development plan approval <br />to construct an approximately 47,720 square foot retail commercial center to <br />be located on an approximately 3.8 acre site located at the southeast corner <br />of the intersection of West Las Positas Boulevard and Santa Rita Road, subject <br />to conditions contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 87-21, and add- <br />ing a condition to read as follows: "Should the project be built out in phases <br />the pad areas not completed in the first phase shall be either planted in <br />grass or some other dust free surface and maintained to the satisfaction of <br />the Director of Planning" be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />PUD-81-30-38D, Application of the Courtney Group, Inc., for design review ap- <br />proval to construct a two-story, approximately 40,000 sq. ft. office building <br />and related signage, to be located on an approximately 2~3 acre site located <br />at the southwest corner of the intersection of Owens Drive and Chabot Drive. <br />Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial/ <br />Commercial and Offices District <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 87:142) dated April 7, 1987, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Leonard McVicor, representing the applicant, presented building <br />design, landscaping plans, and materials to be used in construction of the <br />project. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this application. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> - 15 - 4-7-87 <br /> <br /> <br />
