473 <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> No other changes were made to the Street Department Capital Improvement <br />budget. <br /> <br />Water <br /> No changes were made to the Water Department Capital Improvement budget. <br /> <br />Parks <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated the usage of all park facilities has in- <br />creased tremendously in recent years. He suggested that completion of the <br />Pleasanton Tennis and Community Pa~k be given a higher priority. <br /> <br /> After discussion, no changes were made to the Parks Department Capital <br />Improvement budget. <br /> <br />Sewer <br /> No changes were made to the Sewer Department Capital Improvement budget. <br /> <br />Miscellaneous <br /> After discussion, no changes were made to the Miscellaneous Capital Im- <br />provement budget. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer instructed the City Manager to prepare a report showing the <br />above changes made by Council, and advising that final approval of the Capital <br />Improvement Program will be taken at that time. <br /> <br />Review of Revised Draft Negative Declaration Prepared for the Proposed Dublin/ <br />Pleasanton BART Park and Ride Lot Stoneridge Mall Drive <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 87:120) dated March 17, 1987, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Council discussion ensued regarding the proposed BART park and ride lot. <br />Marianne Payne, representing BART, answered questions raised by Council. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Resolution No. 87-119, determining that the draft Negative Declaration <br />prepared by BART is appropriate; directing staff to inform BART of this find- <br />ing of appropriateness; and directing staff to continue to work with BART in <br />the final design of the pedestrian bridge, site plan, etc., be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />Delegation of Authority to the Housin9 Commission (Ordinance No. 1298) <br /> Mayor Mercer stated that Ordinance No. 1298 was introduced on February 17, <br />1987 by a vote of 5-Ayes, was re-introduced with modifications on March 3, <br />1987 by a vote of 5-Ayes, and that it was now in order to adopt the ordinance. <br /> <br /> Mr. MacDonald presented his report (SR 87:113) dated March 11, 1987, <br />regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> - 9 - 3-17-87 <br /> <br /> <br />
