475 <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wilson, and seconded by Councilmember But- <br />ler, that Ordinance No. 1298, delegation of authority to the Housing Commis- <br />sion, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, that Ordinance No. 1304, approving <br />Option 3 of Staff Report 87:113, extending the appeals period until council- <br />members have an opportunity to review the minutes from each housing commission <br />meeting, be introduced. <br /> <br /> The motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wilson, and seconded by Councilmember But- <br />ler, that Ordinance No. 1304, to be read by title only and waiving further <br />reading thereof, approving Option 2 of Staff Report 87:113, an amendment tothe <br />Housin9 Authority Commission Ordinance to require that staff prepare for Coun- <br />cil review an action memorandum within ten days after each Housing Commission <br />meeting, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Consideration of Seventh Amendment to the Development Defermerit Agreement for <br />Sylvan and Jacqueline Gross <br /> Mr. MacDonald presented his report (SR 87:119) dated March 13, 1987, <br />regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Harvey Levine, Attorney representing Mr. and Mrs. Gross, stated that <br />because of change of ownership he is requesting approval of a six month exten- <br />sion to allow time to create a deal for the senior citizen housing hotel. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler stated he is not in favor of the time extension but <br />because of the need for the senior citizen housing hotel he felt the extension <br />should be granted. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated he is opposed to the time extension; he felt <br />the agreement should be complied with. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Resolution No. 87-120, approving a seventh amendment to the Development <br />Deferment Agreement, extending the time to September 15, 1987, be approved. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, and Wilson <br />NOES: Councilmember Brandes and Mayor Mercer <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the <br />Council. <br /> <br /> 10 - 3-17-87 <br /> <br /> <br />
