373 <br /> Councilmember Mohr asked about landscaping in the freeway areas. Mr. <br />Johnson stated this was approved in the master plan for Koll Center, including <br />the perimeter area landscaping. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember But- <br />ler, that Resolution No. 87-15, approving PUD-80-2-3D, application of NCR <br />Corporation/Bernal Avenue Associates for design review approval for an ap- <br />proximately 34,670 sq. ft. office building located on an approximately 3.6 <br />acre site on the west side of Koll Center Parkway adjacent to 1-680, subject <br />to the conditions of approval contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. <br />2880, and adding a condition that where legally feasible all sales from the <br />region served from this facility shall use the City of Pleasanton as the point <br />of sale, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />UP-86-54, Application of Meyer Properties, Inc. for a conditional use permit <br />to allow for a bank in an existing office building at 5000 Hopyard Road. <br />Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial/ <br />Commercial and Offices District <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item, and continued <br />it to the meeting of February 3, 1987, 8:00 p.m., in the Pleasanton Council <br />Chambers, at the request of the applicant. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wilson advised that he does not have any financial interest <br />in banking at this time, relative to participation in this item as referenced <br />in a memorandum from the City Attorney dated January 6, 1987. <br /> <br />AP-86-11, Appeal of a decision of the Design Review Board denying the applica- <br />tion of Century 21 Academy Realtors for design review approval for an amend- <br />ment to an approved sign program to increase the allowable sign area for an <br />existing realty office located at 5677 Gibraltar Drive. Zoning for the prop- <br />erty is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial/Commercial and Offices <br />District <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item, and continued <br />it to the meeting of February 3, 1987, 8:00 p.m., in the Pleasanton Council <br />Chambers, at the request of the applicant. <br /> <br />RZ-86-14, Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Municipal Code to <br />allow six foot high wrought-iron, split rail or other similar type fencing <br />within the required front yard setbacks in the R-1-20,000, R-1-40,000 (Single- <br />family Residential) and the "A" (Agricultural) Districts <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 87:01) dated January 6, 1987, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to the matter. <br /> <br /> - 19 1-6-87 <br /> <br /> <br />
