Adoption of Resolution No. 87-374, approval of 1987-88 contract agreement <br /> between the City of Pleasanton and Resources for Family Development; and <br /> authorizing execution of the agreement by the appropriate city officials. <br /> <br />u. No action was required or taken by Council on the item. <br /> <br />Minor Modification to PUD-85-21, Dr. Robert A. Connolly, Heritage Oaks Estates <br />(PUD-85-21-1M) <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (IR 87:79) dated August 18, 1987, regarding <br />this matter. No action was required or taken by Council on the item. <br /> <br />Status of the Conditional Use Permit to Operate a game arcade at the Game Sta- <br />tion, 4301 Valley Avenue <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (IR 87:81) dated August 18, 1987, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated that Council granted the temporary use permit <br />on May 19, 1987, for ninety days; there has been some police activity since <br />that time. He felt the game arcade is an inappropriate use at that location. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes that the Conditional Use Permit for <br />the Game Station at 4301 Valley Avenue be denied. <br /> <br /> The motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wilson asked if Council could at this time extend the Condi- <br />tional Use Permit for an additional six months. Mr. MacDonald advised the <br />matter should go through the normal process; being reviewed by Planning Com- <br />mission and final decision made by City Council. <br /> <br /> Mr. Larry Evans, operator of the Game Station, stated he felt it was un- <br /> fair for him to have to keep going through the process and paying City fees <br /> and charges every time this matter was appealed or considered by Council. <br /> <br /> 3 - 8-18-87 <br /> <br /> <br />
