Zoning for the property <br />is RM-1500 (Multi-family Residential) District <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 87:372) dated August 18, 1987, regard- <br />ing this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the <br />negative declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ken Gooch, One Peters Avenue, applicant, stated he met with staff peo- <br />ple and the neighbors regarding this project relative to concerns about land- <br />scaping. He presented a rendering showing the landscaping, which satisfies <br />the concerns of the surrounding property owners. He stated he concurs with <br />the staff report and conditions. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed on the application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wil- <br />son, that Resolution No. 87-381, determining on the basis of a review of ini- <br />tial environmental study done for this project, that no significant environ- <br />mental impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a <br />negative declaration is appropriate in connection with PUD-87-18, application <br />of Ken Gooch and Associates and New Life Fellowship Church for Planned Unit <br />Development rezoning and development plan approval for a ten-unit single- <br />family residential development to be located on an approximately one acre site <br />located on the south side of Valley Trails Drive opposite its southerly inter- <br />section with National Park Road, be adopted. <br /> <br /> - 14 8-18-87 <br /> <br /> <br />
