201 <br />Storage, Inc./Southern Pacific Transportation Company to rezone an approxi- <br />mately 1.47 and 4.2 acre site to the PUI)-I ~i~ District, located at <br />the northwest and northeast corners of the inters[ction of Valley Avenue (ex- <br />tension) and Stanley Boulevard, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, <br />that Ordinance No. 1317, to be read by title only and waiving further reading <br />thereof, approving RZ-87-3, application of Public Storage, Inc./Southern <br />Pacific Transportation Company to rezone an approximately 1.47 and 4.2 acre <br />sites to the PUI)-I Co~z~ District, located at the northwest and <br />northeast corners of the intersection of Valley Avenue (extension) and Stanley <br />Boulevard, with permitted and conditional uses being those listed in the I-G <br />District which also generate no more than 4.5 traffic trip ends per 1,000 sq. <br />ft. Average Daily Traffic, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmember Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />PUD-87-8, Application of Kristen Lamb for Planned Unit Development rezoning <br />and deelopment plan approval for a six-parcel single-family residential <br />development on an approximtely 4.76 acre site located at 2982 Foothill Road. <br />Zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Neqative Declaration <br /> Mr. Lee presented the report of the Director of Planning and Community <br />Development (SR 87:265) dated June 16, 1987, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the <br />negative declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mike Cooper, representing Kristen Lamb, presented the development <br />plans. He stated the project will be sewered from an extension of a main from <br />the Ralph Romero property. He stated the reimbursement agreement could be <br />made a condition of approval. He requested that if properties are developed <br />that will need to be connection to the Lamb sewer main, such as the Henderson <br />property, that they be required to reimburse Ms. Lamb for the connection. <br /> <br /> Mr. Don Cottle, 14 Dorrell Drive, Moraga, Ms. Lamb's business partner, <br />stated he is in favor of the project. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to the application or the nega- <br />tive declaration. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wil- <br />son, that Resolution No. 87-271, determining on the basis of a review of ini- <br />tial environmental study done for this project, that no significant environ- <br />mental impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a <br />negative declaration is appropriate in connection with PUD-87-8, application <br /> <br /> 9 - 6-16-87 <br /> <br /> <br />
