199 <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Resolution No. 87-269, determining on the basis of a review of initial <br />environmental study done for this project, that no significant environmental <br />impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative <br />declaration is appropriate in connection with GP-87-3, application of Public <br />Storage, Inc./Southern Pacific Transportation Company to amend the Land Use <br />Element designation of the General Plan from "Public Health and Safety" to <br />"General and Limited Industrial" for an approximately 1.47 and 4.2 acre sites <br />located at the northwest and northeast corners of the intersection of Valley <br />Avenue (extension) and Stanley Boulevard, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Resolution No. 87-270, after finding that the proposed designation of <br />General and Limited Industrial is consistent with the goals and policies of <br />the General Plan, approve GP-87-3, application of Public Storage, Inc./ <br />Southern Pacific Transportation Company to amend the Land Use Element designa- <br />tion of the General Plan from "Public Health and Safety" to "General and <br />Limited Industrial" for an approximately 1.47 and 4.2 acre sites located at <br />the northwest and northeast corners of the intersection of Valley Avenue (ex- <br />tension) and Stanley Boulevard, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />RZ-87-3, Application of Public Storaqe, Inc./Southern Pacific Transportation <br />to rezone an approximately 1.47 and 4.2 acre sites to the IP (Industrial Park) <br />District or any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan, lo- <br />cated at the northwest and northeast corners of the intersection of Valley <br />Avenue (extension) and Stanley Boulevard <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Lee presented the report of the Director of Planning and Community <br />Development (SR 87:271) dated June 16, 1987, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the <br />negative declaration. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, <br />that Resolution No. 87-269, determining on the basis of a review of initial <br />environmental study done for this project, that no significant environmental <br />impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative <br />declaration is appropriate in connection with RZ-87-3, application of Public <br /> <br /> - 8 6-16-87 <br /> <br /> <br />
