197 <br />PUD-80-2-7D, Application of Michael Martinez and the Koll Company to construct <br />an approximately 6879 sq. ft. restaurant complex, to be located on an approxi- <br />mately one acre site located 9enerally at the southeast corner of Koll Center <br />Drive and Koll Center Parkway. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Industrial/Commercial and Offices District <br /> Mr. Lee presented the reports of the Director of Planning and Community <br />Development (SR 87:266 and SR 87:267) dated June 16, 1987, regarding these two <br />items. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the two applications. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jim Gresham, reprsenting the Koll Company, stated he concurred with <br />the staff report. He advised the restaurant would be open in approximately 1 <br />to 1-1/2 years. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to these two items. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Resolution No. 87-267, approval of PUD-80-2-6D, application of Bernal <br />Avenue Associates for design review approval to construct an approximately <br />35,500 sq. ft. retail commercial complex to be located on an approximately 6.9 <br />acre site located in the area bounded by Koll Center Drive, Koll Center Park- <br />way, Bernal Avenue, and Valley Avenue, subject to conditions contained in <br />Staff Report 87:266, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Resolution No. 87-268, approval of PUD-80-2-7D, application of Michael <br />Martinez and the Koll Company to construct an approximately 6879 sq. ft. res- <br />taurant complex, to be located on an approximately one acre site located <br />generally at the southeast corner of Koll Center Drive and Koll Center Park- <br />way, subject to conditions contained in Staff Report 87:267, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmember Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />GP-87-3, Application of Public Storage, Inc./Southern Pacific Transportation <br />Company to amend the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan from <br />"Public Health and Safety" to "General and Limited Industrial" for an approxi- <br />mately 1.47 and 4.2 acre sites located at the northwest and northeast corners <br />of the intersection of Valley Avenue (extensionI and Stanley Boulevard <br /> Mr. Lee presented 'the report of the Director of Planning and Community <br />Development (SR 87:270) dated June 16, 1987, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tom Dack, Dublin, representing Public Storage, Inc., stated he is <br />aware of the proposed Downtown Community Development Agency, but felt the sub- <br />ject property would not be within those boundaries.
