It was moved by Councilmember Wilson, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Resolution No. 87-245, confirming the appointment by Mayor Mercer of <br />Sharrell Michelotti and Marcelline Mahern to the Fertile Crescent Committee, <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> There were no City Council Committee Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> ~r. Earl Randall, 6610 Hansen Drive, stated that there are dangerous <br />speeders on Hansen Drive. He requested Council to take action to resolve this <br />on-going problem. He added that the City does not have enough police officers <br />to adequately take care of the matter. Mayor Mercer advised him that Council <br />will soon be considering the 1987-88 budget, at which time consideration will <br />be given to the police budget. He invited Mr. Randall to attend the budget <br />sessions. <br /> <br />Schedule Budqet Sessions <br /> Mayor Mercer stated it would be in order to establish dates that Council <br />will review the budget,, so that Mr. Randall will know when to attend these <br />meetings. <br /> <br /> After discussion, Council scheduled work session regarding the 1987-88 <br />budget on June 15, 1987, 8:00 p.m., in the Pleasanton Council Chambers; and if <br />a second meeting is necessary, it will be June 22, 1987, 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />PUD-80~2-5D, Application of Bernal Avenue Associates for design review approv- <br />al to construct a four-buildinq, approximately 115,000 sq. ft. office complex, <br />to be located on an approximately 9.2 acre site, located generally in the area <br />bounded by 1-680, the Arroyo Del Valle, and Koll Center Parkway. Zoning for <br />the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial/Commercial and <br />Offices District <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 87:256) dated June 2, 1987, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to the <br />application. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes left the meeting at 9:45 p.m. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wil- <br />son, that Resolution No. 87-246, approval of PUD-80-2-5D, application of Ber- <br />nal Avenue Associates for design review approval to construct a four-building, <br />approximately 115,000 sq. ft. office complex, to be located on an approximate- <br />ly 9.2 acre site, located generally in the area bounded by 1-680, the Arroyo <br />Del Valle, and Koll Center Parkway, subject to conditions contained in Staff <br />report 87:256, be adopted. <br /> <br /> 6 - 6-2-87 <br /> <br /> <br />
