The project roposes Vandscap- <br />ing, development of basketball courts~ open lay areas, chifdren's play <br />facilities, casual picnic area, and other refated improvements <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Ms. Bengtson presented her report (SR 87:510), dated November 17, 1987, <br />regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the <br />negative declaration. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Resolution No. 87-512, determining on the basis of a review of initial <br />environmental study done for this project, that no significant environmental <br />impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative <br />declaration is appropriate in connection with the application of the City of <br />Pleasanton for approval of the master plan for Nielsen Park, to be located on <br />an approximately five acre site, in the northeast section of Pleasanton, <br />generally within the area bounded by Stoneridge Drive, Oakland Avenue, Eilene <br />Drive, and Kamp Drive, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Resolution No. 87-513, approvingithe application of the City of Pleasan- <br />ton for the master plan for Nielsen Park to be located on an approximately <br />five acre site in the northeast section of Pleasanton, generally within the <br />area bounded by Stoneridge Drive, Oakland Avenue, Eilene Drive, and Kamp <br />Drive, as submitted by MPA Design, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />RZ-87-8, Application of the City of Pleasanton for an amendment to the Zoning <br />Ordinance to modify the definition of "Bar" to include any establishment which <br />serves alcoholic beverages to the public after 10:00 p.m. <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 87:501) dated November 17, 1987, <br /> regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to the matter. <br /> <br /> 8 - 11-17-87 <br /> <br /> <br />
