Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember But- ler, t'hat Ordinance No. 1346, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, after finding the proposed amendment to the zoning ordinance is consistent with the General Plan; approve RZ-87-8, Application of the City of Pleasanton for an amendment to the zoning ordinance to modify the defini- tion of a "Bar" to include any establishment which serves alcoholic beverages to the public for on-site consumption after 10:00 p.m., be introduced. REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER Resolutions Making Application to LAFCO and Agreeing to the Exchange of Prop- erty Tax Revenue and Initiating Prezoning for Annexation 121 (County of Alameda Mr. Elliott presented his report {SR 87:499) dated November 17, 1987, regarding this matter. Mr. Walker stated that the Stanley Boulevard right-of- way should be included in this annexation application. It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 87-514, making application to LAFCO for Annexation No. 121, County of Alameda, of approximately 10.77 acres located on the south side of Stanley Boulevard, including right-of-way; that Resolution No. 87-515, agreeing to the exchange of property tax revenue in connection with Annexation No. 121, County of Alameda, of approximately 10.77 acres located on the south side of Stanley Boulevard; and that Resolution No. 87-516, initiating prezon- ing in connection with Annexation No. 121, County of Alameda, of approximately 10.77 acres located on the south side of Stanley Boulevard, be adopted. Mr. Calvin L. Heihn, President of the Hyde Park Homeowners Association, stated this group agrees to Option 2 presented in the September 1987 alternate plan, however, should this plan impact their pending litigation in any manner then they cannot agree to this or any other option unless it is approved by their attorneys. 9 - 11-17-87
