241 <br /> Mayor Mercer instructed staff to investigate trucks parking on the Moller <br />property and the Rifle Range, referred to earlier by Mrs. Bevard. <br /> <br />item 12i <br />City Attorney Recruitment <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Director of Personnel {SR 88:175) <br />dated April 19, 1988, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes asked about discussing this matter in Executive Ses- <br />sion as to possible restructuring of the City Attorney's office. Council <br />concurred. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wil- <br />son, determining that the need arose to take this action after printing of the <br />agenda based on the extremely limited time frame for City Attorney recruit- <br />ment, to hold an Executive Session at the conclusion of this meeting to dis- <br />cuss City Attorney recruitment and possible restructuring of the City Attor- <br />ney's office. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />item 13a <br />Review of Shea Homes Request for Modification to Long Term Agreement Permit° <br />ting Commencement of Construction July i rather than January 1 <br /> Mr. MacDonald presented his report {SR 88:174) dated April 19, 1988, <br />regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated he requiested to have this item reconsidered; <br />he has reviewed the matter further and does not now have the concerns he pre- <br />vious had relative to the issue. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wilson stated he could not support the request; he felt the <br />current system is fine. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Resolution No. 88-180, approving the proposed amendments to the long term <br />agreement (Castlewood/Lund and Shea) affecting Shea Homes; and authorizing <br />staff to negotiate, and the Mayor to execute, similar amendments to the long <br />term agreements with Ponderosa Homes, Lin {Kottinger Ranch), DeVor Nurseries, <br />and the Walter Johnson Foundation, if requested, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmembers Butler and Wilson <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of <br />Council. <br /> <br /> - 15- 4-19-88 <br /> <br /> <br />
