Ms. Meg Miranda, representing the Mobile Home Park owners, <br />stated that no one is completely happy but the agreement is a <br />good compromise. <br /> <br /> Mr. Dougherty, Vineyard Avenue Mobile Home Park, thanked <br />Council and City staff for their assistance and support of the <br />proposed agreement. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Coun- <br />cilmember Wilson, that Resolution No. 88-27, approving an agree- <br />ment providing for stabilization of mobile home space rents; au- <br />thorizing execution of the agreement by the appropriate city of- <br />ficials, directing the City Manager to initiate discussions with <br />Mr. Ozbirn regarding potential acquisition of right-of-way for <br />Del Valle Parkway through Pleasanton Mobile Home Park; and com- <br />mending each of the participants to this negotiation as shown in <br />Staff Report 88:19, for their genuine cooperation and hard work <br />in reaching this agreement, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> There were no City Council Committee Reports presented at <br />this meeting. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> No one in the audience addressed the Chair. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />AP-87-22, Appeal of a decision of the Planning Commission which <br />denied the application of Amador Savings/Beratlis to subdivide an <br />approximately 30 acre site into 64 residential lots located on <br />the north side of Crellin Road at the intersection of Zinfandel <br />Court and Malaga Court. Zoning for the property is R-1-6500 <br />(Single-family Residential) District <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br />(Contd. Open from 12-15-87 and 1-5-87) <br /> Mayor Mercer advised that the same Councilmembers would par- <br />ticipate in this item as did the last time based upon the <br />original random selection, given that Councilmember Butler and <br />Mohr and Mayor Mercer all still have a financial interest in Ama- <br />dor Savings, in accordance with the Fair Political Practices Com- <br />mission. He also advised that Councilmember Mohr, who is allowed <br />to participate in the item by the random selection, must remain <br />silent except for vote.
