AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> Noes: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> There were no reports of Boards and Commissions presented at <br /> this meeting. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br /> Review of Petition for Water Service on Sycamore Road <br /> Mr. Elliott presented his report (SR 88:30) dated January 19, <br /> 1988, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Milt Jones, representing Alisal Improvement Club, stated <br /> the staff report supports providing water services to the Syca- <br /> more Road area but not at this time; he felt to delay would only <br /> increase installation costs. He felt Council would be short- <br /> sighted not to approve the water line at this time. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and <br /> seconded by Councilmember Wilson, that no action be taken at this <br /> time to provide water service to the residents of Sycamore Road <br /> in the unincorporated area. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Adoption of Resolution approving the Formation of the Downtown <br />Pleasanton Project Area Committee (PAC) <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 88:20) dated January 19, <br /> 1988, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer read a letter from Ms. Birdie Bianchi, 4329 <br />Railroad Avenue, opposing the actions taken earlier this date <br />regarding the Community Development Agency, and requesting a copy <br />of the rules. Mr. Lee advised that the Guidelines of the State <br />were followed, and the election was held on that basis. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Coun- <br />cilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 88-34, approving the forma- <br />tion of the Pleasanton Project Area Committee, and appointing the <br />following members to the Committee: Tom Trimmingham, Sandy McTer- <br />nan, A1 Bronzini, Mike Clauser, Jill Morrow, Robin Barnes, Ben <br />Fernandez, and John Matthews, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Adoption of Resolution Electing to Allocate Tax Revenues within <br />the Proposed Downtown Community Development Area <br /> <br /> - 14 - 1-19-88 <br /> <br /> <br />
