421 <br /> <br />is not interested in spend 3/4 million dollars on the project but wondered if <br />it could be done in phases. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated he felt the project would not gain enough <br />community financial support to make it possible for the renovation. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, <br />that Resolution No. 88-255, authorizing staff to expend funds neccessary to <br />preserve the integrity of Mohr house at its existing location and to determine <br />its final use and location at a later date; and amending the budget to cover <br />the costs associated with securing the house, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wilson <br /> <br />item 5e <br />Minor Modification to PUD-85-21, Connolly <br /> Mayor Mercer declared this item withdrawn from the agenda, at the request <br />of staff. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> There were no matters initiated by Councilmembers presented at this <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> There were no City Council Committee Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> Mr. Charles Doda, 7983 Applewood Court, stated the City has neglected <br />maintenance of the landscaping on the west side of West Las Positas and Foot- <br />hill Road from Highland Oaks to Stoneridge. He strongly felt this area should <br />be maintained the same as other areas within the City. Mayor Mercer explained <br />that the City had recently added additional personnel and hired students <br />during the summer to take care of this kind of problem. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Item 9a <br />AP-88-08~ Appeal of a decision of the Planning Commission denying approval of <br />th~ application of Presley Homes for development plan approval to construct an <br />approximately 239 parcel single-family residential development to be located <br />on an approximately 270 acre site located on the west side of Foothill Road in <br />the area generally west and north of its intersection with Stoneridge Drive <br />and south and west of its intersection with Old Dublin Canyon Road. Zoninq <br />for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development}-Medium Density Residential <br />District <br />(Contd. Open from 5-3-88) <br /> Mayor Mercer declared this item withdrawn from the agenda, at the request <br />of the appellant. <br /> <br />item 9b <br />PUD-86-18-1M, Application of Oakridge Properties for a major modification to <br />an approved retail commercial center to allow architectural and site plan <br />changes for a restaurant to be located at 3170 Santa Rita Road. Zoning for <br />the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Commercial and Offices District <br /> <br /> - 5 - 6-7-88 <br /> <br /> <br />
