419 <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Tarver <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />item 9f <br />GP-88-7, Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the <br />Housing Element of the General Plan to require each residential <br />project to include its prorata share of low- and moderate-income <br />housing needs or to contribute an in-lieu fee, or to make any <br />other revision deemed in the public interest <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 88:585) dated December 20, <br />1988, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br />application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to <br />this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> On the basis of a review of an initial environmental study <br />for this project, that no significant environmental impact would <br />occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative <br />declaration is appropriate in connection with GP-88-7, application <br />of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Housing Element of the <br />General Plan to require each residential project to include its <br />prorata share of low- and moderate-income housing needs or to <br />contribute an in-lieu fee, or to make any other revision deemed in <br />the public interest, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and <br />seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 88-594, be <br />adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> After finding that the proposed General Plan Amendment is <br />consistent with the goals and policies of the General Plan, it was <br />moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Resolution No. 88-595, approving GP-88-7, application of the <br />City of Pleasanton to amend the Housing Element of the General <br />Plan to require each residential project to include its prorata <br />share of low- and moderate-income housing needs or to contribute <br />an in-lieu fee, or to make any other revision deemed in the public <br />interest, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> <br /> - 18 - 12-20-88 <br /> <br /> <br />
