397 The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, mohr, Tarver, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS item 6a Appointment of Tri-Valley Community Television Corporation Board Members Mayor Mercer stated that after a review of all applications received for consideration on the Tri-Valley Community Television Board he is recommending that Charlotte Severin and DeWitt Ault be reappointed for two years terms, as Pleasanton's representatives to this Board. It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. 88-563, confirming the reappointment of Charlotte Severin and DeWitt Ault as Pleasanton's representatives on the Tri-Valley Community Television Corporation Board for a two years term commencing with the expiration of their present terms, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes item 6b Discussion of Code that relates to Boutique Sales CHome Occupation) Councilmember Mohr stated she asked that this matter be placed on the agenda because of the many calls she has received from those who have a boutique once or twice a year in their homes to sell crafts they have made. She requested this matter be referred to the Planning Commission to see if there is a reasonable way to allow this kind of home sales without loosening up the ordinance. Council concurred. Councilmember Brandes entered the meeting at 7:50 p.m. item 6c Selection of Vice Mayor Mayor Mercer stated it is now in order to appoint a Vice Mayor for the coming year. It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that Resolution No. 88-564, reappointing Robert Butler as Vice Mayor for a one year term, be adopted.
