397 <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, mohr, Tarver, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> item 6a <br />Appointment of Tri-Valley Community Television Corporation Board <br />Members <br /> Mayor Mercer stated that after a review of all applications <br />received for consideration on the Tri-Valley Community Television <br />Board he is recommending that Charlotte Severin and DeWitt Ault be <br />reappointed for two years terms, as Pleasanton's representatives <br />to this Board. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. 88-563, confirming the <br />reappointment of Charlotte Severin and DeWitt Ault as Pleasanton's <br />representatives on the Tri-Valley Community Television Corporation <br />Board for a two years term commencing with the expiration of their <br />present terms, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br />item 6b <br />Discussion of Code that relates to Boutique Sales CHome <br />Occupation) <br /> Councilmember Mohr stated she asked that this matter be <br />placed on the agenda because of the many calls she has received <br />from those who have a boutique once or twice a year in their homes <br />to sell crafts they have made. She requested this matter be <br />referred to the Planning Commission to see if there is a <br />reasonable way to allow this kind of home sales without loosening <br />up the ordinance. Council concurred. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes entered the meeting at 7:50 p.m. <br /> <br />item 6c <br />Selection of Vice Mayor <br /> Mayor Mercer stated it is now in order to appoint a Vice <br />Mayor for the coming year. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Brandes, that Resolution No. 88-564, reappointing <br />Robert Butler as Vice Mayor for a one year term, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> <br /> - 7 - <br /> 12-6-88 <br /> <br /> <br />
