It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that Resolution No. 88-520, in support of the State Bond Measure for library construction, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None item 6e Growth Manaqement Oversiqht Committee Councilmember Butler stated he requested this matter be placed on the agenda because he felt it would complement the City. It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that the feasibility of a Growth Management Oversight Committee be referred to the Planning Commission for its review and recommendation to Council. CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS There were no City Council Committee Report presented at this meeting. MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC Mr. John Gualandri, Gatetree Circle, stated there is a problem with the sound system and score board at Amador High School. He advised the new sound system is louder than the old system, and is very annoying to the residents in the area. He added that the score board is up higher than the old one and he is even able to read the advertising. He stated he sent a letter to the School District Office over a month ago but has not received a reply. He asked if Council could do anything to help alleviate - 8 - 11-1-88
