Vice Mayor Butler declared the public hearing open on the item. No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this matter. Vice Mayor Butler declared the public hearing closed. It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, after hearing no protests, that Resolution No. 89-187, be adopted, approving the weed abatement program for 1989; and authorizing the appropriate staff members to proceed with the abatement on properties set forth in Resolution No. 89-136. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Tarver, and Vice Mayor Butler NOES: None ABSENT: Mayor Mercer - 5 - 4-18-89
