The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />item 6d <br />Report on Traffic Surveillance Program <br /> This item was removed from the agenda at the request of <br />staff. <br /> <br />item 6e <br />Vacancy on the Planninq Commission <br /> Mayor Mercer presented his memorandum dated March 21, 1989, <br />advising that Brian Hoyt as resigned as a member of the Planning <br />Commission, and that the term of Joyce Berger will expire on May <br />5, 1989. He was his recommendation that these vacancies be <br />advertized, with a closing date of May 4, 1989. Council <br />concurred. <br /> <br />item 6f <br />Review of Exterior House Colors for Lot 8, Deer Oaks Drive <br /> This item was removed from the agenda at the request of <br />staff. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />item 7a <br />Lonq Term Replacement Financing Study for LAVWMA <br /> Mayor Mercer presented the report of the Sewer Committee <br />regarding a long-term replacement financing study for LAVWMA <br />facilities. He stated the Board will be reviewing the report and <br />making a decision on the program at the April LAVWMA meeting, and <br />that this report is being provided for Council's information. No <br />action was required or taken by Council on the item. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> Ms. Yvonne Kroetch, 818 Sylvaner, stated she is displeased <br />with the way the Amador Valley Savings and Loan project is being <br />developed, and decisions were made without the surrounding <br />residents being notified. She felt it is a crime the way this <br />developer is allowed to build large houses on small lots so near <br />to existing residents. She stated the beautiful hills have been <br />lost to development. Her faith in the City Council has been <br />shattered. Mayor Mercer suggested she make her comments regarding <br />this matter under item 13b on the agenda, when this matter will be <br />considered. <br /> <br /> Mr. Stanley Rathbone, 325 Ray Street, asked why a water line <br />is being constructed on Foothill Road and not on Main Street, <br />which it should have been. <br /> <br /> <br />
