387 <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the <br />public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Tarver, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 88-145, denying the <br />appeal, Case AP-88-11, and upholding the Planning Commission's <br />approval of the Hacienda Business Park Owners Association's <br />application, Case UP-88-14, to operate a park-and-ride lot <br />facility to be located on a portion of an approximately 2.3 acre <br />site, be adopted. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer requested that the motion be amended to place a <br />condition of approval that the park-and-ride lot facility shall <br />not become operational until the BART Express Bus begins serving <br />the Santa Rita Jail which is planned to begin April 23, 1989. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Tarver amended his motion to include this <br />condition; Councilmember Mohr amended her second accordingly. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />item 9q <br />AP-89-2, Appeal of a decision of the Planninq Commission denyinq <br />approval of Case PUD-88-14, Application of Presley of Northern <br />California for development plan approval to construct a 194-parcel <br />sinqle-family residential pro~ect to be located on an <br />approximately 271 acre site located on the west side of Foothill <br />Road in the area generally north of west of its intersection with <br />Stoneridqe Drive. Zoninq for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Low Density Residential District <br /> Mayor Mercer declared this public hearing continued to the <br />meeting of April 4, 1989, 7:30 p.m., in the Pleasanton Council <br />Chambers, at the request of the appellant. <br /> <br />item 9h <br />Consideration of Proposed 1989-1994 Capital Improvement Proqram <br /> Mayor Mercer stated this item will be considered in work <br />session on April 3, 1989, 7:00 p.m., in the Pleasanton Council <br />Chambers. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer requested that item 12a be considered next on <br />the agenda because of the number of people in the audience for <br />this matter.
