Zoninq for the property is PUD <br />fPlanned Unit Development)-Low Density Residential District <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 89:118) dated March 21, <br />1989, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bob Silva, Vice President of the DeSilva Group, presented <br />the Laguna Oaks master plan. He thanked the City staff and <br />residents of the Foothill Knolls Subdivision for their cooperative <br />efforts relative to the proposed project. He stated if the <br />planning process goes as planned he expected to start construction <br />in the Spring of 1990. He stated his objective is to plan, design <br />and construct Laguna Oaks within the guidelines, fiscal <br />constraints and planning development to enhance the City of <br />Pleasanton with a development that will provide public and <br />private open space, a variety of lot sizes, landscaped entry <br />features, will contribute land to the public infrastructure, <br />street design, parks and trails system, and will provide school <br />impact fees. He presented exhibits showing various aspects of the <br />proposed projects. He stated he concurs with the staff report <br />with one minor exception; he would like to have the round-about <br />entry to the project.
