Ms. Niclas explained the lot elevations, stating that some <br />pads are lower than others. <br /> <br /> Mr. Darrin Burson asked that the single story units on the <br />northern border be as low as possible; the lower the better so as <br />not to block his view. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and <br />seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that Ordinance No. 1404, to be <br />read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, be <br />introduced, approving PUD-84-5-1M, the application of the <br />Westbrook Housing Group for a major modification to an approved <br />215 unit residential development plan located on an approximately <br />230 acre site south of the southern terminus of Bernal Avenue, <br />Concord Street and Bordeaux Street, subject to conditions set <br />forth in Staff Report 89:112, and adding the following <br />conditions: The height of the single story homes be no higher than <br />16-1/2 feet and a maximum for the two story units of 22-1/2 feet, <br />and the units on Lots 1-11 come back to the City Council for <br />design review approval. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />item 9b <br />PUD-88-15, Application of Ted and Corrine Mavridis for Planned <br />Unit Development rezoning and development plan approval to <br />construct a twelve-parcel, single-family residential project to be <br />located on an approximately three acre site located at 6168 Suno] <br />Boulevard. Zoning for the property is "A" (Agricultural) <br />District <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 89:92) dated March 7, <br />1989, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br />application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roger Manning, 235 Main Street, representing the <br />applicants, stated he agrees with the staff report. He advised <br />the plan is for now and also in the future, and is supported by <br />the neighbors. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Tarvet asked if the large eucalyptus tree will <br />be removed. Mr. Darryl Alexander, landscape architect, said it <br />may have to be removed in ths future if this area is made into a <br />cul-de-sac. <br /> <br /> <br />
