497 Ms. Joan Buchenauer, 894 Bonita, expressed concern regarding development of the land and its adverse effect on wild life, especially the grey foxes, which are now an endangered species. There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed on this item. It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 89-92, be adopted, that on the basis of a review of an initial environmental study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative declaration is appropriate in connection with RZ-89-2, the application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an approximately 100 acre site located on both sides of Bernal Avenue generally between Independence Drive and Angela Street to the "A" (Agricultural) District. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that Ordinance No. 1402, to be read by title only and waiving further reading there, approving RZ-89-2, the application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an approximately 100 acre site located on both sides of Bernal Avenue generally between Independence Drive and Angela Street to the "A" (Agricultural) District, be introduced.
