485 <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 89-57, confirming the <br />reappointment of John Vizzolini as Pleasanton's representative on <br />the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District Board for a term of <br />two years, said term to expire January 2, 1991, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />item 6b <br />Appointment to the Human Services Commission <br /> Mayor Mercer presented his memorandum dated January 27, 1989, <br />reappointing Dawn Gordner and Bernard McEntee to second terms on <br />the Human Services Commission, appointing Valerie Hurst as a <br />Regular Member to fill the unexpired term of Jarrett Johnson; and <br />appointing Melanie Bentley as Alternate Member to fill the expired <br />term of Valerie Hurst. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. 89-58, confirming the <br />reappointment of Dawn Gordner and Bernard McEntee as regular <br />members on the Human Services Commission for a four year term, <br />said term to expire December 10, 1992; appointing alternate member <br />Valerie Hurst as a regular member to fill the seat vacated by <br />Jarrett Johnson, said term to expire December 10, 1992; and <br />appointing Melanie Bentley as alternate member to fill the <br />unexpired term of Valerie Hurst, said term to expire May 20, 1991, <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />item 6c <br />Expiration of Term on the Park and Recreation Commission <br /> Mayor Mercer presented his memorandum dated January 27, 1989, <br />stating that the term of Steven A. Krahnke on the Park and <br />Recreation Commission will expire February 15, 1989, and that he <br />is directing staff to advertise for this vacant seat, with the <br />deadline to apply being March 10, 1989. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />item 7a <br />1988 Year End Report for Alameda County Waste Management Authority <br /> Mayor Mercer presented the 1988 year end report of the <br />Alameda County Waste Management Authority.
