127 <br /> <br />item 10c <br />Adoption of Ordinance No. 1416, Approval of PUD-89-1, Application <br />of Far West Associates for development plan approval to construct <br />a 124-unit residential pro~ect and related improvements to be <br />located on an approximately 20 acre site located easterly of the <br />terminus of Stoneridge Drive <br />(Intro. 5-2-89, 3-Ayes, 2-Absent) <br /> Mayor Mercer stated that Ordinance No. 1416 was introduced on <br />May 2, 1989, by a vote of 3-Ayes, 2-Absent, and that it is now in <br />order to adopt the ordinance. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated the applicant should be <br />commended for his plan, however, he will be opposing the <br />development because he feels it is premature as it relates to <br />growth management and the unknown impact of unbuilt units in the <br />community at this time. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Tarver stated he concurs with Councilmember <br />Brandes; the plan is premature. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Butler, that Ordinance No. 1416, approving PUD-89-1, <br />the application of Far West Associates for development plan <br />approval to construct a 124-unit residential project and related <br />improvements to be located on an approximately 20 acre site <br />located easterly of the terminus of Stoneridge Drive, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmembers Brandes and Tarver <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />item 10d <br />Adoption of Ordinance No. 1417, Approval of PUD-85-15-1M, <br />Application of Golden Eagle Farms for a ma~or modification to an <br />approved development plan for a 210-unit residential pro~ect to <br />allow for a special events/conference center to be established at <br />the facility approved for a clubhouse ~Bernal Adobe) to be <br />located at 1780 Foothill Road <br />(Intro. 5-2-89,.3-Ayes, 2-Absent) <br /> Mayor Mercer stated that Ordinance No. 1417 was introduced on <br />May 2, 1989, by a vote of 3-Ayes, 2-Absent, and that it is now in <br />order to adopt the ordinance. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Mohr, that Ordinance No. 1417, approving PUD-85-15- <br />1M, the application of Golden Eagle Farms for a major modification <br />to an approved development plan for a 210-unit residential project <br />to allow for a special events/conference center to be established <br />at the facility approved for a clubhouse (Bernal Adobe) to be <br />located at 1780 Foothill Road, be adopted. <br /> <br /> - 16 - 5-16-89 <br /> <br /> <br />
