There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the <br />public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, seconded by <br />Councilmember Mohr, to adopt Resolution No. 89-253, approving <br />PUD-80-2-13D, Application of Bernal Avenue Associates for design <br />review approval to construct a two-building, approximately 26,300 <br />square foot office complex to be located on an approximately 2.3 <br />acre site located on the south side of Koll Center Parkway <br />approximately 450 feet west of the intersection of Koll Center <br />Parkway and Valley Avenue. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Items 6e, f, and g, will all be considered together. <br />Z-89-142, Application of Spieker Partners for design review <br />approval to construct an additional 65,800 square feet of retail. <br />floor area (Phase II within the 15.96 acre Rose Pavilion Shoppina <br />Center) located in the northeast corner of the intersection of <br />Rosewood Drive and Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br />AP-89-4, Appeal by the City Council of a decision of the Planning <br />Commission which approved Case UP-89-21, the application of <br />Spieker Partners for a conditional use permit to operate a <br />supermarket within a retail commercial complex (Rose Pavilion <br />Shopping Center) to be located at the northeast corner of the <br />intersection of Rosewood Drive and Santa Rita Toad. <br /> <br />PUD-89-6, Application of Spieker Partners for Planned Unit <br />Development rezoning and development plan approval for a multi- <br />building, approximately 118,500 square foot mixed use retail <br />commercial complex to be located on an approximately 13.3 acre <br />site located at the northwest corner of the intersection of <br />Rosewood Drive and Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration. Mr. Swift presented <br />his reports (SR 89:264, SR 89:266, and SR 89:261 respectively) <br />regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this <br />applicaEions and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> Brad Blake, 6000 Stoneridge Mall Road, appeared on behalf of <br />the applicant and described the Cost Less supermarket operation <br />and marketing philosophy. He indicated this is the third piece of <br />the puzzle which will provide one stop shopping for Pleasanton <br />citizens, thus cutting down on number of trips.
