135 <br /> <br /> Item 6m <br /> Z-89-142, Application of Spieker Partners for design review <br /> approval to construct an additional 65,800 sq. ft. of retail floor <br /> area (Phase II within the 15.96 acre Rose Pavilion Shopping <br /> Center) located in the northeast corner of the intersection of <br /> Rosewood Drive and Santa Rita Road. <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 89:328) regarding the <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br /> application. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brad Blake of Spieker Partners, 6000 Stoneridge Mall Rd., <br />stated that he had been working with the staff and the Design <br />Review Board and that they had come up with a plan that met with <br />everyone's approval. He then showed the Councilmembers some <br />illustrations of the project. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mr. Mercer declared the <br />public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr thanked Mr. Blake for his cooperation regarding the <br /> landscaping. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Mr. Tarver, that <br />Resolution No. 89-322 be adopted, approving the application of <br />Spieker Partners for design review approval to construct an <br />additional 65,800 sq. ft. of retail floor area (Phase II within <br />the 15.96 acre Rose Pavilion Shopping Center) located in the <br />northeast corner of the intersection of Rosewood Drive and Santa <br />Rita Road. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />7.
