195 <br /> <br />Item 8b <br />Report on four-way stop at the intersection of Paseo Santa Cruz <br />and Calle Altamira <br /> Mr. Elliott presented his report (SR 89:340) regarding the <br />matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Mr. Mercer, <br />that Resolution No. 89-338 be adopted, modifying Section 3 of the <br />City Code Traffic Appendix and approving the installation of a <br />four-way stop sign at the intersection of Paseo Santa Cruz and <br />Calle Altamira/Calle Morelia. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 8c <br />Introduction of an Ordinance Amending the Pleasanton Municipal <br />Code by Adding Thereto a New Chapter 9.28 to Title 9 (Health and <br />Safety) Concerning Property Maintenance. <br /> This item will be continued to the August 15, 1989 City <br />Council Meeting. <br /> <br />Item 8d <br />Reconsideration of Action Taken to Adopt Resolution No. 89-280 <br />Denying PUD-85-8-4D, Application of Retail Property Development <br />Company for a Retail Commercial Complex in Hacienda Business Park <br /> This item will be continued to a public hearing on the <br />August 15, 1989 City Council Meeting. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer announced that there is a Citizens Advisory <br />Committee at the Alameda County Transportation Authority. Mr. <br />Dale Turner wrote Council a letter saying that Ms. Gail Gilpin, <br />the City's representative to the Committee, has resigned. The <br />Council will need to appoint somebody to replace her. <br /> <br />9. CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes stated that Mr. Tarver and himself have been in <br />liaison with the East Bay Regional Park District Committee and <br />reported that tremendous progress have been made in some joint <br />issues relating to parks in Ridgelands and Shadow Cliffs. He <br />added that very positive things are happening in both areas of the <br />liaison committee and the staffs working together. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer mentioned that he had a letter from the East Bay <br />Regional Park District offering to give the Council some updates. <br />He requested Mr. Bocian to ask Ms. Bengtson to look into the <br />possibility of their giving a 15-minute update as a first item on <br />the Council Agenda, either on the last meeting in August or the <br />first in September. <br /> <br /> -16- <br /> 8-1-89 <br /> <br /> <br />
