REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER
Item 12a
Evaluation of Oak Tree Farm Proposal
Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 89:345) regarding the
matter.

Mr. Jack Smith, lawyer for the Currin Group, owners of Oak
Tree Farm, presented the following plan for the project: They
would proceed with the County Board of Supervisors for zoning for
the entire property, ask them to complete their environmental
studies, and set aside any consideration of the package plan for
later, should everything else fail. In 1989, they would give the
City a tentative map and bring to the County a final map of the
nine lots that are east of the road with the understanding that
these could not be used unless the City gave them the right to
access the Castlewood sewer service. In 1990, they would come
with a final map of approximately ten to eleven lots on the south
end of the property, none of which were under consideration as
having a problem. The City would still decide on the sewer plan
of these lots. At the end of that time, they would request the
City for annexation of the entire property so they could come
under the City's Growth Management Program for 1991. They would
then deal with the City on the remaining lots, working on about 12
to 15 lots a year with the City deciding on which lots could and
could not be utilized. He explained that this procedure would
basically give them some use of the property in 1989 and 1990.

-17-
8-1-89
