473 <br /> <br /> It was then moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Mr. Butler, <br />that Ordinance No. 1437 be introduced, to be read by title only <br />and waiving further reading thereof, approving RZ-89-10, the <br />application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an approximately <br />351 acre site located southwest of Castlewood Country Club and <br />generally west of Foothill Road to the PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Low Density/Rural Density Residential, "A" <br />(Agricultural) and "P" (Public and Institutional) Districts, or to <br />any other zoning districts consistent with the General Plan. <br /> <br />Item 6b <br />RZ-89-11, Application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an <br />approximately 246 acre site (Shadow Cliffs Regional Park) located <br />on the south side of Stanley Boulevard approximately 2,200 feet <br />west of the intersection of Stanley Boulevard and Valley Avenue to <br />the "P" (Public and Institutional) District, or to any other <br />zoning district consistent with the General Plan <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 89:463) regarding the <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br />application. <br /> <br /> There being no testimony, Mr. Mercer declared the public <br />hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 89-465 be adopted, based on a review of an initial <br />environmental study done for this project and on a finding that no <br />significant environmental impact would occur as outlined in the <br />City's guidelines and on a further finding that a negative <br />declaration is appropriate in connection with RZ-89-11, the <br />application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an approximately <br />246 acre site (Shadow Cliffs Regional Park) located on the south <br />side of Stanley Boulevard approximately 2,200 feet west of the <br />intersection of Stanley Boulevard and Valley Avenue to the "P" <br />(Public and Institutional) District, or to any other zoning <br />district consistent with the General Plan. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarvet and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> -7- <br /> 11-7-89 <br /> <br /> <br />
