441 <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Butler, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 89-447 be adopted, approving PUD-81-30-46D, the <br />application of Prudential Property Company for Planned Unit <br />Development design review for a 16,799 sq. ft. retail/commercial <br />project consisting of a 5,040 sq. ft. regional post office, an <br />8,059 sq. ft. retail building, and a freestanding building pad for <br />a future 3,700 sq. ft. commercial building for the property <br />located at the southwest corner of Chabot Drive and Gibraltar <br />Drive. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6b <br />PUD-89-14, Currin Construction, Application to rezon~ an <br />approximately 39,500 sg. ft. site located on the northeast comer <br />of Bernal Avenue and Pleasanton Avenue from the "A" (Agricultural) <br />to the PUD (Planned Unit Development] - Office District, or to any <br />other zoning district consistent with the General Plan <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 89:447) regarding the <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br />application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jerry Dommer of Dommer and Byars, Project Architect, <br />stated that he would answer any questions on the project. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mr. Mercer declared the <br />public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Mr. Butler, that <br />Resolution No. 89-448 be adopted, based on a review of an initial <br />environmental study done for this project and on a finding that no <br />significant environmental impact would occur as outlined in the <br />City's guidelines and on a further finding that a negative <br />declaration is appropriate in connection with PUD-89-14, the <br />application of Currin Construction to rezone an approximately <br />39,500 sq. ft. site located on the northeast corner of Bernal <br />~venue and Pieasan~on Avenue ~rom ~he "A" (Agricultural) to the <br />PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Office District or any other <br />zoning district consistent with the General Plan. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> -3- <br /> 10-31-89 <br /> <br /> <br />
