74 <br /> There being no further testimony, Mr. Mercer declared the <br /> public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, to <br /> adopt Resolution No. 90-30, approving the application by the City <br /> of Pleasanton requesting the Local Agency Formation Commission <br /> (LAFCO) to take proceedings for the proposed Annexation No. 134 <br /> (Moller), pursuant to the Cortese-Knox Local Government <br /> Reorganization Act of 1985; Resolution No. 90-31, agreeing to the <br /> exchange of property tax revenues for Annexation No. 134; and <br /> Resolution No. 90-32, initiating prezoning of the property being <br /> annexed to the City of Pleasanton under Annexation No. 134 <br /> (Moller). <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> 7. SPECIAL AND INFORMATION REPORTS <br /> Item 7a <br /> Quarterlv Claims/Litiqation Report for <br /> October 1, 1989 - December 31, 1989 <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush presented his report (IR 90:10) regarding the <br /> matter. <br /> <br /> No actien was required or taken by the Council on this item. --' <br /> <br /> Item 7b <br /> Actions of the Desiqn Review Board and Planning Commission at <br /> Their Meetings of January 24, 1990 <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (IR 90:14) regarding the <br /> matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver commented that the last Design Review Board (DRB) <br /> meeting took so long that the public had to wait until 11:00 p.m. <br /> to testify on some issues at the Planning Commission meeting which <br /> was scheduled for 8:00 p.m. He stated that something should be <br /> done to make the Design Review Board meeting go more smoothly. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer stated that he had two long discussions with Ms. <br /> Sharrell Michelotti, Chairperson of the Planning Commission who <br /> also sits on the DRB, and she informed him that that meeting was <br /> an isolated case but that the DRB will have some sessions to <br /> work things out. <br /> <br /> -16- <br /> 2-6-90 <br /> <br /> <br />
