78 <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Mr. Tarver, that <br /> Resolution No. 90-28 be adopted, denying PUD-89-18, the <br /> application of Orion Homes/Westbrook Property for planned unit <br /> development rezoning and development plan approval to subdivide an <br /> approximately nine acre site located at 10890 Dublin Canyon Road <br /> into 16 single-family residential lots and one remainder parcel. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes and Tarver <br /> NOES: Mayor Mercer <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> ABSTAIN: Councilmember Mohr <br /> <br /> Item 6c <br /> RZ-89-18, Application of the City of Pleasanton to Rezone an <br /> Approximately 7.5 Acre Site Located on the Southeast Comer of <br /> Bernal Avenue and Foothill Road from the R-1-6,500 (Sinqle-Family <br /> Residential) District to the R-i-20,000 PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) - Low Density Residential District, or to Any Other <br /> Zoninq District Consistent with the General Plan <br /> <br /> Consider Adoption of a Negative Declaration <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 90:52) regarding the <br /> matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br /> application. <br /> <br /> There being no testimony, Mr. Mercer declared the public <br /> hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that <br /> Resolution No. 90-29 be adopted, based on a review of an initial <br /> environmental study done for this project and on a finding that no <br /> significant environmental impact would occur as outlined in the <br /> City's guidelines and on a further finding that a negative <br /> declaration is appropriate in connection with RZ-89-18, the <br /> application of the City of Pleasanton to rezone an approximately <br /> 7.5 acre site located on the southeast corner of Bernal Avenue and <br /> Foothill Road from the R-1-6,500 (Single-Family Residential) <br /> District to the R-1-20,000 PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Low <br /> Density Residential District, or to any other zoning district <br /> consistent with the General Plan. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver expressed concern that the 21,000 sq. ft.lot is <br /> too small and presents the opportunity in the future for the <br /> corner lot to be further divided into two 20,000 sq. ft. parcels. <br /> <br /> -12 - <br /> 2-6-90 <br /> <br /> <br />
