102

members would not be allowed to miss any meetings since they
already missed the past three meetings.

Ms. Mohr commented that she attended the last PRC meeting and
that she supported the recommendation made by Ms. Wagner.

Ms. Becky Dennis, 838 Gray Fox Circle, indicated her support
for Ms. Wagner's recommendation. She stated that she would favor
whatever would be necessary to ensure that the PRC's plan and the
provisions of Measure M would not be subject to any future legal
challenge that could invalidate the entire process.

Mr. Butler stated that he recognized the merits of the
proposal but that he did not understand how any implication could
be made that the process by which the PRC was established was not
fully open to the public.

Mr. Brandes concurred with Mr. Butler.

Mr. Rick Dobbs, 3616 Portsmouth Court, disagreed with Mr.
Butler. He stated that since he supported Measure N, joining the
PRC presented a personal conflict of interest he could not
overcome. He expressed his support for the Committee's efforts to
come up with a Ridgelands plan that would best suit Pleasanton.

Mr. Geno Tolari, 9550 Santos Ranch Road, Ridgelands property
owner and co-Chairman of the "No on N" Committee, stated that as a
member of the PRC, he would like to establish the credibility of
the Committee, even if it would require reopening participation in
the Committee.

Ms. Sharrell Michelotti, 7873 Olive Court, indicated her
support for Ms. Wagner's proposal. She pointed out that the ballot
did not specify that the Ridgelands would be reviewed by an
existinq committee.

Mr. Tarvet congratulated the "Yes on M" and "No on N"
Committees. He agreed with Mr. Butler's statements that the
formation of the Committee was thoroughly discussed and added that
the language of the ballot measure clearly indicated that a
committee was in place and would continue to work. He stated that
the credibility of the PRC and the outcome of the process are
broader issues and that he supported reopening participation in the
Committee since he would like to see as much citizen involvement as
possible on the Committee.

- 4 -
11-20-90
